Missing in action

Yes, I'm talking about me. Things have been crazy in my crazy life, so I haven't been posting as often, sorry. I'm thinking I also needed a break from the everyday NaBloPoMo activities. Don't get me wrong - I really enjoyed it. I just disliked the "I-had-to"-ness of it all. I also had lots going on at once, including a holiday/housewarming party which was the official "debut" of the house to my friends, as well as a rousing success (thanks, Nubians!). I discovered that I really like entertaining very much, thank you, and I'm looking for another excuse to throw a shindig. I'm thinking I want to wait at least a month, though - party planning is hard work, and I'm all out of champagne.

Now that my life is beginning to slow down a bit (I'm thinking January will be much calmer, or at least I'll be more focused than I am right now), I will make a concerted effort to blog more. I was very excited about my giveaway, and I can't wait 'til the next one - I might have to make that one a food item, but who knows?

Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying the rest of the year, and making plans for an even better 2009. I know I am.
