Be My Guest

Well, with the help of a friend, I finally managed to at least begin tackling the guest room. I had used it for a catchall, for all the boxes I have yet to unpack (I tell you, those Freecycle guys looove me), as well as anything I hadn't yet taken up to the attic, or down to the basement. I still have lots of boxes, but they are in a neat pile in the corner. The problem is that most of the boxes have books in them, and since I've successfully enforced the “no particle board” rule at the new house, I'm still looking for bookshelves. I haven't had any luck in my thrifty search, but that's what happens when you buy (or receive) secondhand – sometimes, you gotta hurry up and wait. Once I get the bookshelf, I can unpack the books.

I'm giving the guest room over to the yarn stash. There's just way too much stuff in the office. Of course, this means that my knitting friends are not invited to sleep over; they can't be trusted with unsupervised Lorna's Laces.
